Disciples of Prosperity
What does “prosperity” mean to you? What do you think of when someone says that? Wealth? Richesse(material goods)? Your bills paid? Knowledge, so that you can construct your own destiny? Skills, so that you can have the job you want?
Prosperity means so many things. To me, a Disciple of Prosperity, it means having what you desire without causing lack in someone else. What constitutes a fair trade? Russian statistican, by way of France, Rappaport once said that he could prove that the universe was “win: win: win”. Every transaction you take should be a triple win: a win for you, a win for the other party, and at least not a loss for the rest of the world. That’s the model I have tried to adopt in life, though not always successfully. But prosperity isn’t an endpoint. Rather it’s a journey and involves a process. That process involves goals, learning, knowledge, organization, application, multiplication of “profits”, and most of all mistakes.
Despite my rather poetic introduction, this site intends to be fairly straightforward, combining a number of related topics in a way that you hopefully have not seen before, and which hopefully will be of some value to you. There are two of us so called Disciples of Prosperity, myself and Andy. We’ll write here about all of the above topics, as well as efficient use of technology as part of your quest for prosperity. As first and foremost this site is about money and finances, there will be a regular short “newsy/ roundup” posts about money, finance, investing, electronic payments including contactless payment/ credit cards. Less frequent, but more indepth, we’ll have longer articles about the process of prosperity, based on our own successes and failures. Hopefully you’ll be back to share all of this with us and comment frequently.
